OverviewAggregate Industries, a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a 1st Shift Fixed Plant Electrician/Mechanic to support operations at Millville Quarry in Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia.

This position will be responsible for the diagnosis,repair and maintenance of a wide variety of fixed electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, systems and machinery.

This position typically works from 6:00 a.M.

until 3:00 p.M.

Overtime will be required and shift may be adjusted for business needs.ResponsibilitiesEssential Job FunctionsRoutinely walk the plant to inspect electrical and mechanicalequipment and parts and systems in need of repair or replacement.Communicate with Plant Management on a daily basis to discuss itemsin need of repair.Maintain electrical/mechanical systems associated with crushers,conveyor belts, pulleys, pumps, screens and screen bearings.Prior to undertaking any diagnosis or repair, conduct a job safetyanalysis to identify and isolate any hazards such as energy (lock-out,tag-out), working at heights, confined spaces, etc.Always ensure all safety guards are on equipment when it is energizedReport all incidents, accidents, near misses and first aid events toSupervisors as soon as possible.

Complete incident reports asinstructed.Attend and actively participate in regular safety toolbox talks,production meetings and trainingsAdhere to all Company Safety, Environmental, Compliance, HumanResources and Plant policies and procedures.QualificationsQualifications High School Diploma or GED Equivalent A minimum of three years of experience performing the functionslisted above in a construction, building materials, manufacturing orindustrial environment.

West Virginia Journeymen electrician certification preferred Experience with troubleshooting/installation 120V – 480V electricalsystems PLC and relay logic troubleshooting experience a plus.

Proficient in hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.

Welding skills are desirable.

Strong safety-orientation Ability to work overtime.
