Our Assemblers have a high technical aptitude; are comfortable working with a wide variety of hand, power, pneumatic and automated tools, love what they do Maybe you will too?Come GROW with usAssembler Job Summary: This position is responsible for all aspects of assembly and preparation for shipment of all product lines as well as the electronic documentation of the assembly.

In addition this position is responsible for following all safety rules and maintaining shop cleanliness.Assembler Primary Duties and Responsibilities:AssemblyAssemble products based on drawings, blueprints and picturesAssemble components using basic hand toolsWire electric motors and sub-assemblies using a wiring schematicFollow assembly and test procedures to meet quality and functionality standardsRecord assembly information electronicallyPerforms accurate data and record keeping in both paper and digital format (through basic computer use)Prepare equipment for shipment, including packaging and assembling wooden crates to ship product when workload requires assistance in shipping areaOperate HVLP paint sprayer and power filter-ventilation boothOperate pneumatic tools, such as framing gun and staplerOperate power tools such as radial arm saw, circular saw and panel sawSafetyMaintain work area and overall shop area in clean and safe condition.Wear protective equipment when required.Complete fork truck safety class.Maintain department/company 6S standardsUse cranes and other assistance methods as neededKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong mechanical aptitudeBasic wiring / electrical knowledgeAbility to operate an electric forklift is requiredAbility to use basic hand tools is requiredAbility to stand and walk for duration of shift is requiredAbility to bend, kneel, and ascend/descend stairs is requiredAbility to lift 50lbs is requiredBasic computer and writing skills requiredOperation of overhead hoistsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals is requiredAbility to maintain a clean and safe work environment is requiredAbility to work independently and in a team environment and perform various functions as directed by the Production ManagerAbility to apply critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and fix product defectsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAttendance
